Northstar V3: Sign-Off Course Modules
Introduction
The Course Sign-Off feature allows users to record course and module completion for a student. In this initial release, course sign-off functionality is available through the Student category and supports tracking progress toward program completion.
Getting Started
Use the Student Lookup to locate the student for whom you need to enter course completion information.

Once the student record is open, select Programs from the left navigation panel.

Choose the program associated with the course you are signing off.

Within the Course Completion section, all courses associated with the program are displayed, including required credits, required hours, and current course progress.
Locate the course you wish to sign off and select Edit.

Enter the Course Start Date, then select Save. Once saved, the associated course modules will be displayed.


Signing off Course Modules
To mark a module as complete, select the checkbox in the Done column. By default, the completion date will populate with today's date. If needed, use the calendar icon to select a different completion date.

Enter additional details applicable, such as score, grade, or citizenship information.
When all required information has been entered, select Save. The system will display a confirmation banner indicating the changes were saved successfully.

After saving, the course progress percentage will update for the individual course. The overall program progress displayed in the Student Progress section will also reflect the updated completion status.
