Northstar V3: Run a Report
Introduction
The Reporting section of Northstar provides access to comprehensive collection of reports designed to support operational, academic, fiscal and compliance needs. Reports are organized for easy navigation and can be generated in multiple formats to support viewing, analysis, and submission requirements. New usability enhancements in Version 3 improve report discovery, reuse, and report navigation.
Getting Started
To run a report in Northstar V3:
- Navigate to the Reporting category.
- If you know the format of the report, filter by the report type.

- If you know the report name, use the search feature. Alternatively, scroll through the report list to browse available options.
- Enter the required report parameters (such as dates, programs, or locations).
- Select Run Report to generate the results.



Working with Report Results
Once the report is generated, you customize and export the results.
Use the Columns option to control which fields are displayed on the page.

Use the export options to download or save the report results in the available format.

Favorites
The Favorites feature allows user to quickly access reports that you run most often. Simply click the star icon next to a repot to mark it as a favorite.
Favorited reports appear in a personalized list, reducing the time spent navigating the full report list.
