Northstar V3: Enter Class Roll

Class Roll Introduction

The Class Roll feature uses the same streamlined layout  and includes clear student status indicators to support quick and accurate attendance entry.


Getting Started

The class roll page is available under the Instruction category.

To begin, select the Instructor and Date for which you want to enter class attendance.

If needed, further refine the list by selecting a specific Room from the drop-down menu, or by enabling the Unsubmitted Only and/or Lock-Step Only checkboxes. These options help narrow the class list to the records requiring action.

Once the correct list of student is displayed, enter attendance for each student using the attendance drop-down menu.

After completing attendance entry, select the Save button to submit your changes. The system will indicate how many attendance records have been modified, allowing you to quickly verify your work before proceeding.

Saved attendance entries are highlighted based on the selected attendance type, providing a clear visual summary of the class roll status.

Completion

You have successfully completed class roll entry for the selected date. No additional action is required unless further updates or corrections are needed.
