Portal API

    • Added a new Student Notes endpoint to allow creation of student notes from external systems. The API can be browsed at https://portal.COLLEGENAMEHERE.edu/Portal/apidocs.

    • Note: It uses the same API Key as the Student Application endpoint, which can be managed by web-admins via the following setting:

Portal

    • Updated the instructions shown to students when logging in or registering for a new account. It’s now clearer if they are provided with a Student ID only, or if they also receive an email account. Also added validation to the login pages to help explain login errors when students use the wrong option.
    • The Student Statement report can now be optionally hidden for each college. This extends a previous option that allowed the Make Payment option to be hidden.
    • Improved performance for students completing Self-Scheduling or registering for new classes.

Canvas Integration

    • When updating a student’s name on Demographics, it will also sync that change with Canvas. The name sync was already happening for Google.

FY26 Reporting

    • Added the new ‘[E] – U - Data Submission – FY26’ report.
      • Added new ‘Include NonMission CIPs’ parameter. By default, when it’s not selected, the results exclude non-mission courses. Optionally, they can be included by choosing to select this option.
      • Added new ‘X_CollegeEmail’ column to the results. If a student has a Google/College email on record, it will be listed here.
    • Added the new ‘[E] – U - Completers – FY26’ report

Programs

    • Added a new Funding Department field. This selection is reported on the [E] – U – Programs report for USHE as the value in the PF_DEPT column.

Funding Department Types

    • Added a new form to allow the colleges to manage the list of funding departments from the Programs form. By default, it’s populated with values previously submitted to USHE. 

Courses

    • Added a new ‘Require Grade’ checkbox option. If selected, when a completion is recorded on Course Sign-Off, then a Grade must also be entered.

Gradebook

    • Added the Highschool name into the ‘Terms’ drop-down to make filtering easier to use.

[R] – Student Schedule

    • Added the ability for a college to customize the Counselor/Advisor labels.

[E] – Clocking Station Logs

    • Improved the available parameters to make the report easier to use.
      • Clocking Station matches either the Station ID or the Station Name
      • By default, only ‘live’/production data is included. Optionally, ‘test’/training logs can be included if stations are being tested.

    • The column results are also easier now easier to read.     

 

Other

    • Various adjustments and improvements to reporting and system performance.
