1098T Records (2023)

  • Added new ‘[R] – Form 1098T (2023)’ and ‘[R] – Batch Form 1098T (2023)’ reports.
    • Note, if you’ve already used the ‘[E] – 1098T’ report to being reviewing results, those are still OK to import. This change just makes the printable PDF reports available that are used for displaying the officially published and final results.

      Added a new ‘Extend Management Period’ button to more easily allow the college to make corrections after the original March 31 reporting deadline when needed. Previously, edits to the form were locked on March 31 and the college would need to contact us to extend the management period.

    • Note: Use of this action requires a new permission that can be assigned to additional user roles as needed through the Authorization form.

Course Modules

  • Added a ‘Filter Date’ parameter to the top of the form. This makes it easier to review and manage modules by always showing the Module Hours total per the Filter Date. Previously, the form would implicitly filter to today’s date by default and couldn’t be customized.

Schedule Details

  • Updated the highlight color used to indicate if a Course in the Class drop-down has a ‘Pending Self-Schedule’ status. The color is now a shade of purple, but was previously orange. When hovering over any course in the list, a tool-tip will still be shown to display the student’s current status in that course. A status of ‘Pending Self-Schedule’ means that an instructor has made Self-Scheduling available to the student, from the Course Sign-Off form, but that the student has not yet completed registration online through the Portal.

Course Sign-Off

  • Added a status indicator to highlight when a Course in the drop-down list has a ‘Pending Self-Schedule’ status. Previously, there wasn’t an indicator in the list. The purple color used is the same as the updated indicator on the Schedule Details form.

Courses

  • Updated the validation to allow changes to the ‘Show on Transcript’ and ‘Include Grade’ fields. If students have already completed the course, then the ‘Enable Restricted Fields’ option must also be selected.
    • Note: Editing transcript-related fields after students have completed the course will have a retroactive effect.

Class Roll

  • Fixed the ‘Room’ filter so that it accurately filters out students even if they have multiple overlapping classes. As long as they have a one class in the selected room, all of their Roll information will be displayed on the form.
  • Fixed the ordering that’s applied to the Courses lists and tool-tip to ensure it’s always consistent.

Portal (Self-Scheduling)

  • Improved the filtering for how eligible Sponsorships are identified when determining if payment is required during the registration process. If the previous course was paid in-part with a Sponsorship, and the new course will also start within an eligible period, then payment will not be taken. After the enrollment completes, any remaining balance due will be displayed on the student’s dashboard screen.
  • Improved the prominence and display of the banner notification shown to students when they have a new course available for registration
